Having got the version finder (VF) and the manage versions master script working for me. I am hoping the version finder mod (VFmod) script will be the icing on the cake and will allow me to track down versions of the images which the manage versions script identifies as having no DTOrg data.
However when I run the VFmod script on such an image I get a message stating “The utility must be run with one parameter being the date specifier for the search.” I suspect this is a message from the IMatch search function put in train by the script rather than the script itself – but is the utility the search function or the script? What are the parameters referred to and what is the date specifier apparently missing?
The filename format I use is YYYYMMDD HHMMSS text ###.jpg. Different versions have the same text.
The script works perfectly whether I search on DTOrg or filename on those images which VF would identify anyway.
I thought the filename search of the VFmod was a simple imatch search but I may be misunderstanding something fairly basic. I think I’m right in saying that Ben developed the modified script to assist where more than one image per sec was taken and so the DTOrg would be the same across images. Is it perhaps the case that the script still requires some DTOrg data to run?
If not where am I going wrong?
Thanks for your help
